Was just thinking about what operations I’ve had in my lifetime

Tonsils and adenoids removed

Hernia operation

2nd hernia operation

Appendix and kidney stone (largest 9mm, or 1/4 inch) at the same time

Overall, not too bad. Trust me though, the last one is not a fun time beforehand 🤕

I had my tonsils and adenoids sliced away without a drop of anesthesia before I was 10 years old while I had been stripped of clothes except undershirt and tights and tied to a chair with strips of cloth. Why? B/c my father was born in the the old USSR and remains a Russian citizen that he passed on by descent till this day, my paternal grandmother took us to her native China and acquired local custody, AND often took us out of China to neighboring former USSR countries where both of her husbands were from while trying to hide my younger sister and I from persistant parents. So we were in Turkmenistan in late 2001 when I needed have my tonsils and adenoids removed in order to breathe properly and not keep getting sick. So she dragged me to some hospital in Ashgabat to have the operation for almost free, the nurses spoke Russian to me while they tied me up with my wrists and ankles bound to the chair, and I was released to have help to dress to go home and vomit blood without a second thought. That's just how you did it. That was traumatic but I made it through. What's your excuse?!

@Bignakedguy Thanks, I guess I didn't mention that these are spread out over about a 35-40 year time frame.
