Don't mind me

I've figured out why all those people blocked me.

Politics and religion.
Two things that have my attention, but not my interest.
I am aware and knowledgable on both topics. My indulgence however, is mild.

But I'm sure some of my comments must've stuck a nerve in them anyway, and they blocked me.

Clearly you just displayed a valid reason to be blocked. Just declaring yourself to aware and knowledgeable doesn't include your shadow spots and biases, but those exist.

@FlowersNButterflies When I post my opinion on religion, politics, and sensitive issues, I usually think about what I'm going to say for a moment. Something very few people on SW seem to do.

And just so you know, I've blocked all those people back. Block for a block. Took me a while to know who's blocked me but it's done now.

There are dozens of people here who've said something that I didn't agree with once in a while. Some of them are even in my circle. I didn't just block them like an idiot. At the end of the day, their opinions mattered. They may have seemed a little extreme to me, or contrary to my own beliefs, but that doesn't invalidate them entirely.

You know what I think? I think someone who blocks another person just because of a difference of opinion or belief is extremely petty. I wouldn't want such people around me in real life either. So good!

@rrraksamam I don't see you as managing your own emotions, just trying to manage those of others. Block is an important feature.
