Why is talking over PM so much more boring compared to talking in the comments of a post?

For me it's because it begins to get personal and in a mundane way. Notifications on posts are short term, short lived and not personal.

People say different stuff when they know everyone can see it.

They’re playing games in those private conversations and don’t want to show too much of their real selves in public.

Most people are boring but if you ask the right questions then people will answer more excitingly

I've been told i am cold in DMs. Also i seem to put people to sleep in DMs. 😆

I like the open forum it’s engaging . I rarely p/m anyone.

My PM's are pretty lit.

Because you only have two minds contributing. In posts, it’s like a communal living room, where friends and others can join in, like the local British pub (without the drinks). PMs are good for private conversations that’s why they are PMs.

1. People are more decent in open communication.
2. You have opportunity to interact with more people.
3. You gets a feeling that you are interacting with many persons.

If I pm you I really want to connect. This is like hit and run.
I pm alot since I don't always want public comment on everything or share everything.

Depends on the person, somtimes it takes a bit to get things going too.

You don't have multiple respondents when talking in pm

Cause in pm you're trying to come up with something to talk about ig

It happens but I really like PMs from some people.

I like both but prefer pms.
