Have you ever been inside a public building i.e. a grocery store as the power went out?

I've seen [i]many[/i] power outages while in a grocery store. Of course, since I worked in grocery stores, I saw a vast number of those outages from the employee perspective. Make sure customers are safe and don't shoplift. Cover any open refrigeration units. If outage lasts over 30 minutes, haul all frozen food items to the back freezers. Get out your emergency flashlight and get back to work.

The power went out in my frozen yogurt store. That was scary, I was afraid my product would melt.

Yes, once at a store in a mall. They made us all put our items for purchase down and leave, with their guards checking everyone at the door. 🙄
