Fern Riddell: From Bombs to Birth Control: The Life of Kitty Marion

[media=https://youtu.be/oW8Vqzx2VEM]
Fern Riddell reiginted my passion for the subject
I feel the doctor more than earned her PHD, because of her work HERS they are still documenting and going over the bombs in the British archives-they haven't even finished.
Before Doctor Fern Riddell chose to bring forward the full extent and explore the arson and bombing campaign by the WPUS and the Pankhurst it had been essentially forgotten and archived away never actually fully explored.
She literally unearthed this stuff from the archives and was one of the first to ever even read about Kitty Marion's story.
And the thing about Fern is she really made me want to follow in her footsteps, she TOWERS OVER me as a Role model.
I admire her fiercely for what she's done and can only state that I wish I had influencers like her through my time in Academia because she would have been able to keep me engaged.
Fern's research was breaking right as my passion was starting to spark

I feel very strongly about this particular topic even as a History geek, you see the sanitized version of women's history is just less interesting and painting women as sexless virginal saints who had never felt lust in their entire lives and had no idea what lust even felt like turned out to be foul bullshit in my lived experience of women in fact honestly i've been OUTDONE by the women I've dated in terms of sheer libido and had to get used to the idea that I might like the idea, but they want far more than I can even give,

Which is more than a lot of men too in that department and I really want to satisfy them it's just I now realize I might be able to a few times, and they'd STILL want more in a single night.

Women are just shy about it and secretive all you have to do is make them feel safe to come forward about it.

But that sanitized and inaccurate portrayal of the opposite sex it's concerning from multiple angles

and the sanitization of the arson and bombing campaigns as well by the inheritors of that legacy might have from their vantage point been done out of embarassment but for me frankly the truth only makes the history more engaging.

i prefer the real version- not the sanitized and scrubbed version of women's history
