It’s a damn game they play. Maybe they want to lay people off but if they do that their unemployment insurance rates rise. So they are hoping some quit and save them some money

@cherokeepatti way i see it is they gotta pay for all those undeserved promotions theyve been passing out. Most of the people as of late don't deserve the promotions they got. Now we got too many chiefs not enough indians

@SW-User went through that at the university. They were giving promotions to new hires besides raising their pay scale by $1 an hour. Then when they didn’t carry their weight on the job guess who had to pick up the slack? The older employees. And many of the newer ones didn’t last long even after all of that, they’d end up quitting within 3 years.

That absolutely bites. Sounds like they just don't care... are you working in the service industry? That's typical of them.

{@moonchildxx] sorry too hear this it is a difficult one really all around . the two things that comes too mind is trying too cut back on things or look for something else even a second job that is suitable with you current hours . all them sadly are difficult in a sense but you have no choice really

@SW-User yes that is terrible really in a sense were you feel that way you are on the employment scrap heap .a really sad state of affairs as you have skills going too waste

Yeah, and they are just about the worst at it. They simply don't care because they know if you quite, someone else will take the job - never mind that you need the income. It's a rotten business to have to work in. Hope you can find your way out of it.
