I have my dad's name to buy for Christmas, He is hard to buy for.

He's just a basic guy, doesn't wear cologne or dress up. He's a mechanic and already has a shop full of every tool you can imagine. I usually just buy him boring things like shirts or pajama pants or candy and sweets. Any other suggestions to buy for a dad?

Take some of his tools and wrap them up and give them back to him for Christmas.
Then you can give a gift card for anything else he wants or doesn't have.

@Adrift lol that's funny my sister and I did that to my mom one year. My mom's a bit of a hoarder. We went up to the room she has hoarded the most and found an odd object that we weren't sure she would recognize and wrapped it up. She didn't recognize it and asked if it was something she had haha

Hell yes, he's a Cardinals fan but I'm not sure if I could buy 2023 tickets around winter time this year

Bake him a cake every month.

I used to buy mine dvds or PlayStation games mostly. I bought him a satnav one year and a tablet another year.

Get him a tech gadget or a toy like a remote control racing car.

I just thought of something I could get maybe a home security system. But what if he wanted to put one of the cameras way out in the barn to watch the horses. And the House Wi-Fi doesn't reach out there?

@swandfriends Well, he sounds a practical guy, I'm sure he could figure something out.

He's retired now and he actually did that last year. Bought an old 1940s truck or something

Does he collect like old toy cars and trucks does he drink
swandfriends · 41-45, F
He doesn't drink or collect anything. Sometimes I'll buy gift certificates to the movies or restaurant but I get tired of doing that over the years. I want an actual big gift this year he already bought new boots I was going to do that but he just recently bought some
