Car will be towed at owners expense

This hotel I’m staying at they have you put a card on your dashboard or car will be towed. Couple days ago I was in line to be checked in a lady was in front of me checking in. The person at the counter said “can you put your car make and license plate on register form” this lady gave her an attitude and said “I don’t have a car” this morning I went to the front same lady was there yelling at this person. Her car was towed away. She could of saved a lot of money if she told them make of car and license plate number.
