I'm starting to think my dad cares less about making sense and more about having his word followed unquestioningly.

Today, he literally suggested that I take my car to Jiffy Lube to get the bumper cover and engine shield replaced.

Fuсking Jiffy Lube. To do body work. And he just kept doubling down and pushing the idea, then said it was just a suggestion.
