Getting two degrees in college was only worthwhile because I enjoyed nerding out and learning the material. I did meet a great network of people that have helped me obtain the jobs I have now, but I don’t think it was worth the stress, time, and debt I’ll be paying off for the next however many years.

Education is an industry in itself... When you think about it, manufacturing and other industries support the education industry by demanding you go through it first... Funny thing is many industries were started by people with no further education, just an idea and a will to survive

I was the first generation to go to a 4 year college and I earned a poly sci degree.
Worst mistake I ever made. My choices would have been different if my parents had graduated college.

I’ll hire an engineer with floor experience and teach him programming.

Lol so true. That's why college is a scam. I have quite a few friends who wasted their time with college and got degrees that they have nothing to show for because of not being able to get a job they got degrees for.
