@FurryFace I am asking you if it is being called a TAX or just store fee. Big difference.

@cherokeepatti it would be marked as a tax on a non taxable item , but who really studies their receipt or even asks for one most of the time ? and on large orders these can really add up , its Big Business across the country

@FurryFace Needs to be reported and exposed then, surprised that no one has taken the time to do it
This might be unrelated, but the lady who runs the gas station a few miles away has been double taxing gasoline. She only does it if you purchase gasoline with something else. I figured out what she's doing, and I stopped going there.

@Fretnought generally the cash registers have an exclusion for taxing gas and other items that are already taxed. She must be something else to bypass that. And a good thing if someone turned her into the news. Some of them do undercover stories and expose them on TV and they’ll go out of business pronto with bad publicity.
@cherokeepatti I'm in the process of gathering evidence. It's not much, but I'm hoping it works. Most people who go there are farmers and lowerclass families.

@Fretnought yeah that woman takes advantage as much as she can…people coming and going because there’s a small village with other businesses next to her store and a lot of low-income people without cars walking to the store from trailer parks.
