Does anyone on here who voted for Biden regret it now?

Or do you still stand by him? Either way I don't care too much, I jus see so much hate on Biden I jus wonder how many supporters he still has.
Poppies · 61-69, F
I don't regret it, because the alternative was much worse.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@RedBaron Yeah but at the expense of tanking the economy?
RedBaron · M
@SatanBurger It's a big leap of logic to assume that's because Biden is in office. Everyone wants to blame the manager, coach, or president, but it's probable that this would have happened with Trump anyway.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@RedBaron There were a few articles on ABC talking about Biden halting certain things because of climate change leading to the rise in prices. There's other solutions so I would probably say that it probably wouldn't happen if Biden was in office but someone else because anyone else would have offered different proposals that didn't involve forcing people to get 100,000 dollar electric cars which most can't afford anyways.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Can anything be name a single president who faced so many problems? It is amazing that he can stand up to them all.

@MarmeeMarch io agree, but over what period of time compared to current POTUS?

@ididntknow Until 2016, for twenty years of my adult like, I have voted Republican for president.

I voted for Biden knowing I would likely oppose many of his plans. Knowing he would likely damage the economy.

Trump was a disgrace in the White House. Every time he spoke, I was ashamed that he was speaking for my country.

I refuse to give in to the ends justifying the means. The only way I could support Trump was to have no feelings about the moral character of someone. The character of the man we elect President will always matter to me.

I regret nothing personally. I regret that the Republican party is no longer the party that calls out the Democrats for being decisive. That stands for small government and less spending. That they can't put forward a reasonably morally sound human to stand for their platform.

Also, to get my vote back, they must stop trying to undo 50 years of woman's rights. That's a line in the sand for me. I will never have kids of my own. It's not a personal or selfish wish. It's a matter of women having equal rights to body autonomy.
Jenna76 · 41-45, F
@RosaMarie Well said
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
@ididntknow that's your best reply, eh? Typical Trump fan.
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
@Jenna76 Thanks.
RedBaron · M
We got rid of Trump. Mission accomplished.
BlueVeins · 22-25
I voted against him in the primaries, he's a bad dude with bad policies.
Nope. He wasn't my first choice, but at the end he was the lesser of two evils.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
He has plenty of supporters, despite the very vocal non support. Given the amount of permanent damage done by the previous administration he’s doing a great job. The piggies 🐷 always squeal loudly.
HypnoChode · 46-50, M
@BackyardShaman Yes. This exactly. There is a fairly-silent majority that supports him and a very vocal minority against him.
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
Still with him...better than the last guy.
Carazaa · F
@PTCdresser57
[big]The understatement of the year!
[/big]
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
No one will admit it.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
My only regret is we couldn't get rid of the traitorous GOP officials still in office.
Human1000 · M
I don’t regret it because I’m not a fascist piece of shit.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Human1000 really?

it's popular to hate on the current president, no matter who they are, because we are a nation divided between two parties. no regrets, given the choices we were handed
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@pentacorn wow, you don’t have a clue, do you

Biden might end up being the president that defanged Russia.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@plungesponge Biden might be the president that got defanged by Russia
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Everyone I know who voted for him are in denial
Like2play · M
No I don’t.
Piper · 61-69, F
I did not vote for him in the primary, and was far from thrilled that he won it. I do not, however, regret voting for him in the final election.
@lovebeingasissy Donald's employment cliff dive

That's 22,000,000 jobs lost after lying to us for 5 weeks about the pandemic. TWENTY TWO MILLION!!!
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
This question assumes I expected Biden to be a good president. I did not vote for Biden because I liked him or even supported him.

I voted Biden because Trump was selling out the long term stability of our nation for short term gain, was putting the worst possible people in charge of various cabinets and federal organizations, and was weakening US influence around the globe.

Biden himself is not doing great. But the Biden administration is doing better than I expected in a number of areas, especially foreign policy.

Present inflation is not Biden's fault. It is an ongoing global issue that has been building up for years and was finally triggered by the pandemic and subsequent return to normalcy.

Outside of that, what exactly am I supposed to regret about a Biden vote?
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@ViciDraco Republicans, if you'll pardon the generalization, tend to look for a president they perceive as a strong leader. Therefore, that's what they assume we do. They think we hero worship our picks the way they do theirs.
Sharky86 · 36-40, M
I'm glad I don't live in USA and also I dislike the current potus but the fucking orange guy really destroyed the international reputation of USA so I kind of feel sorry for old fart Biden. XD Kind of.
I think the future President, even if better than him would still have the too many problems and will have to solve so much shit, but hey, it could be even a worse one. XD
I don't see a bright future for USA at all, and this will affect many other countries too, sadly.
Carazaa · F
@Sharky86 Yes he destroyed Americans, not only the reputation of America. So sad! He is the reason for all the violence since he was not honest, caring or gentle with the hurting people in this country. He made so many mad at each other, and instead of calming the country he gossiped about China, blacks, women, etc. It is the saddest period America has ever had except for slavery. It put the entire world back 200 years.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
I never voted Biden, I voted someone different.... I forgot who. I wanted Andrew Yang but it never caught on then I think he got out of the race and it was someone different so I just threw my vote away by voting independently. I knew from Biden's past that I wouldn't vote for him. It's not that I think he's horrible and I won't go the whole REEEEEE route here regarding presidents but I dislike his passive aggression.
I don’t regret it at all. I knew he was going to have a lot of Trump’s garbage to clean up and with Mitch McConnell and a majority GOP Senate remaining, I knew Biden would have a fight on his hands. So I’m glad he’s been able to do as much as he has, and has tried to be a unifying force for this country. The people who disparage him are the same hateful losers who would’ve disliked him regardless, simply because he isn’t Trump (thankfully). 🤨
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
@bijouxbroussard his politics is identical to Trump's
@Changeisgonnacome They aren’t. I’m sick of you and your negativity.
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
@Changeisgonnacome Last time I checked, Biden wasn't trying to undo sixty years of woman's rights. Trump's court appointments are going to take decades to fix.
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
He's not different from Bush, Clinton, Trump or Obama in politics or results.
@Changeisgonnacome Are you okay?
LordShadowfire · 46-50
I regret there wasn't a third, better choice. I knew he was the lesser of two evils.
SW-User
Oh f*ck no I don't regret it, I'd take a lifetime of Biden over one month of Cheetolini

I voted for Elizabeth Warren in the 2020 POTUS primary, and just because she didn't move on to the general election does not change my position on the above one fraction of one iota
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
@SW-User but the politics is identical. Cheeto man is Brandon.
SW-User
@Changeisgonnacome I'm sorry but that is some hardcore denial
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
@SW-User of what? You still have wait in Mexico at the border, no single payer, no peace in Europe, you're taunting China, -. What changed?
