If I too were a spy, probably not. If I am not a spy, he's not a very good spy, telling me what he's up to. I might post it on social media. I'd think he was lying.

Interesting. That was the plot of an episode of American Dad. Francine got jealous because Stan was so very charming when trying to get secrets out of a female spy, but gross and disgusting at home. She got so upset about it that she created a false identity for herself called the Beaver. (Get it?)

In the end, the lesson she learned was that Stan's charming facade was a carefully crafted lie, and he was showing his true self to his one true love.

I'd like to think that's how I'd feel about it.
