Yes I have been known to do that b/c where I live society is very hierarchical. If someone is older than you they have authority over and you are expected to be respectful and obedient. I can't tell you how many times I have used that to my advantage.

If I had any I definitely would abuse it. Then probably get bored, wander off and go eat a chicken sandwich thus loosing all the authority and power 🤷‍♀️😂
