Covid rising
Not enough hospital staff.
Crippling energy prices
Limited jobs
Women being stalked and harassed

I'm sure this isn't just exclusive to the uk...
But these are the current topics on the news this evening...

It's far worse in the major cities in the USA. Gangs have taken over, homeless and mentally ill are murdering women, pushing them onto train tracks in the subway, or stabbing and killing them at work.

@4meAndyou I remember NYC in the 1970s when the homeless slept in the doorways and the sidewalks were littered with sleeping drunks, or dead bodies. And not infrequent the sound of gunfire.

I also spent part of the 70s in Saigon .... and felt safer there than I did in NYC.
