meetup.com is a good site to use if you're wanting to meet new people in person. They pretty much have groups for all interests...everything from hiking to movie groups. You might want to check it out.

Taking a class or joining a group activity. The mistake people make is to focus too much on perfecting the new hobby and missing the social clues of those around you. You’re taking the class/activity to mingle so enjoy the interaction more than the actual thing. That’s a successful way to meet new people.

bars, cafes, shops, out and about in nature.
There so many places people can go but online has ruined it, people don't want to go out and make an effort any more. To easy online init? Meeting people
rather than actually talking to people.

Before I was with glitter, I went to nightclubs on my own to the pub on my own, to the library. everywhere I went, I went on my own, people fear that today. How the fuck do you meet someone without the internet - think of us back in the day? without all this!

People want so much in a relationship but do fuck all to achieve it

Even now with glitter - the weekend, went to my bosses wedding, glitter was off talking to a load of random people as I was. met some nice people I could call mates, as did she!

I do modelling and pageants I made 6 new friends from doing it. I find it really hard to make friends I did have 7 but we didn’t really get along when we shared an apartment 😹

A friend of mine highly recommends joining a church for that sort of thing, if you can stand the sort of people you're likely to meet there.

I think we should re-invent human interaction. Perhaps we could have a variety of dual purpose venues where one could conduct business and/or pleasure while interacting with other humans! For instance, places to purchase raw or prepared foods, places to worship, places to read books, places to exercise, open spaces where people can relax and children can play. I really think I’ve hit on something…
