How did you deal with a bully in school?

Got between him and his victim and told him to stop. I was obviously so crazy he backed down. What scares bullies more than anything is getting their asses kicked by a lunatic who won't back down.

I endured. I used to get beat up every couple of days by this one particular kid. I did my best to avoid him but...he found me when it suited.

Then, due to a peasant's tenacity, and perhaps family genetics, I grew, and that ended. Moral of the story? Life can be, and often is.....cruel. And the statement really does ring true....the strong survive. Each of us needs to find a way to cope, endure, and progress understanding that, nothing lasts forever. It just feels that way at times.
At least, that was my experience.

I avoided them as much as possible but also learned boxing from a neighbor. The inevitable confrontation finally came and I ‘d put up with too much for too long. A well connected right hook took him down and that was that

Fight them

I didnt. I just turned the other way, avoided him, ignored him when he spoke, and just got through it. I knew that I had no choice but to do that...because, the very first time he bullied me in music class in 4th grade, I slapped him across the face. he laughed. it was basically then I knew that he just lived for a response. so I never gave him one.

My dad taught me I was not put on this earth to validate anyone. Bullies seek attention..validation. They confuse freedom and license. Twice in school I faced my bully alone... No crowd around. Showed them my heart. Never became friends...but did garner their respect.

I was really mean in High School ..but only to those who bullied me or my friends..I have a silver tongue and I know how to use it .... As sweet as I can be was as mean as I can be ..I'm much nicer as an adult 😂

Broke his ribs when I had a fight with him in front of his and my friends.He only ever opened his mouth to me this once.

I laughed along with them if they teased me about anything and they grew to like me, I was the new girl in class in 6th grade.

Finally fought back when she gave me no choice. By that time I was so angry that when teachers pulled us apart, she had a black eye and loose front teeth.

I remember some guy trying to pick on me when I had a broken arm. He pushed past me and said "out of the way cripple". I turned and hit him a massive sweeping kick to the left leg. He tripped and landed flat on his face.

He got up and hurried away. Which surprised me. It's not like I was gonna win a fight with one arm 😂 and he was bigger than me.

Ignored them

I jumped him after school and broke a guys arm. After that no one messed with me. 😂 Then I went to a majority white high school. My cousins and friends used to pick me up in their lowrider cars. Everybody thought I was a gangster.😂
