He started yesterday but I needed the day off. Finally ask about his pay.told him i wasn't sure it would be in between $10 and $15 to start depending how he does plus his weekly covid pay as long as he has 30 hours in.

@MarineBob It's illegal to decide the pay rate after the work is done. It's not even legal to employ someone and decide their hourly rate after the work is done.
@MarineBob Yes all hubs teach a life skill. Like don't let yourself be used like a slave and work for stale peanuts while the boss man is eating caviar.
@MarineBob I build docks. It really isn't much of a life skill honestly. I like it but if asked me to do it for $10 and hour I'd laugh in your face and if someone bought a dock built at $10 an hour I'd tell them you get what you pay for.
