We will be living with this pandemic indefinitely unless people start getting vaccinated. Will you get vaccinated?

@MarmeeMarch Sorry to hear that. But glad to hear you got it. So far the worst any of us have had is a day of feeling worn out from Son in Law. But that might have been Daughter and three kids. That was Astra Zeneca.😷

I think that's BS. Don't get me wrong, I'm vaccinated. But I have no issue if someone makes another choice and decides for them the vaccine is not appropriate. And no one else should either. We all take a risk with this stupid China virus.

The people who took it weighed the risk of taking it versus getting China-virus. They chose to get vaccinated. But others did the same thing and came up with a different choice. They went through the identical thought process. Only their choice was different. And it shouldn't matter. If you're vaccinated, then you're safe right? So lay off.

The real "misinformation" here are the people who refuse to accept the choice of a free person to make. I think you should all be censored for the constitutional dangers you are promoting. No question. Your rhetoric is dangerous and unwarranted. You're putting free speech at risk. WTF is wrong with you?

See how that works?

@carpediem Your responses to this subject are probably the most mature ones ever found on this forum. It is refreshing :)
CestManan · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone That was back when we had anthrax (speaking of mail)
carpediem · 61-69, M
@CestManan Thank you. Much appreciated
CestManan · 46-50, F
even if everyone got a shot, they would just invent some variant that the vaccine doesn't stop.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@CestManan who is that?
@CestManan I think you’re correct variants =control.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@JohnRing "they" are the powers that be.
This was going to go on for a long time from the very beginning. They've been telling us that since February of last year.

I plan on being vaccinated after I've checked all of my other health. I had covid so I've had built up antibodies for awhile.

I want to make sure if have a reaction to the vaccine they won't be able to say it was something else. Even when they KNOW the vaccine caused a reaction, doctors are often too scared to state that with certainty on documents 🙄. They'll tell their patients it did but they won't put it in writing.

This happened to somebody I know who got the covid-19 vaccine. The doctor told them the vaccine caused a severe reaction and advised them not to take the 2nd dose. When the time came for them to say it was the cause on the report they wouldn't give a clear yes. This person's heart is damaged beyond repair now and they have to wear a pace maker for the rest of their life, but who cares about them right?

This isn't an easy decision for a lot of people. Nobody can guarantee the vaccine will be completely safe. There is a risk, even if it's a low risk for most people. Don't assume they are just being selfish. Everybody has their reasons for taking or not taking the vaccine. You don't know what is going on in their life. It's their choice and people need to stop with the guilt trips for not taking it if that's what they feel is best.

Will you be ok with somebody losing their life or being permanently damaged from the vaccine because you told them they should take it? If you aren't going to assume responsibility for that then let people decide for themselves.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@midnightrose The vaccine bullies don’t care
Confined · 56-60, M
Growing number of vaccinated people testing positive and ending up in the hospital with covid. Seems to prove that this vaccine is a hoax.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@Confined not if more people get vaccinated.
Confined · 56-60, M
@JohnRing 70+ million people have been poisoned. 7,000 vaccine deaths reported in the USA 15,000 or more in the UK. Vaccinated people are now getting sick and that number will grow come winter time.
Last summer we thought covid was going away because the numbers dropped dramatically in the summer weather. Once the summer is over we will see thousands of vaccinated people in the hospitals. It will prove this has all been a smoke screen and the vaccine had nothing to do with health, it was all the search for more money just was the gulf war was about oil.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@Confined the same misleading talking points you’re brainwashed into posting.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
I got my J&J Vaccine on March 13, 2021. I've had ZERO problems after getting it. Those that continue to refuse this vaccine, are just letting themselves be run by fear and fear alone. Their biggest complaint that I'm constantly hearing is that it hasn't been tested thoroughly to get all the 'bugs' out of it. Face it, our Government do-gooders has brought all of this onto themselves. The FDA of the US Government requires that ANY Drug be tested from 7 to 10 years before it's authorized for general Public distribution. EVERY other Country requires less than 6 months with the majority being less than 60 Days. 95% of Europe requires less than 60 Days. That's where we here in the USA have failed.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
It’s as if we’ve not lived with viruses for hundreds of years.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@CestManan The same government that cares about our health doesn’t ban cigarettes.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone hahah no kidding. Probably because they are making bank off that one
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@CestManan so you’re fine with no more vaccines for Polio or Smallpox?
Doomflower · 36-40, M
Already been vaccinated. I wanna do it again just to be sure.
Pfuzylogic · M
Did my double dose of Moderna.
Honestly someone not getting vaccinated is disrespecting the health profession.
Pfuzylogic · M
@SooperSarah
Then you are that special exception. You can be excluded from the general condemnation.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@SooperSarah good luck! I feel for you. Let’s hope people who really should get vaccinated feel responsible enough to help protect people like you.

I almost talked myself into getting my first shot today. It’s a bit more complicated for me though due to extremely high levels of anxiety that can creep in due to any sudden physical sensation felt, and the immune deficiency/blood clot disorder I was diagnosed with years ago.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@PerfectionOfTheHeart it’s unfortunate for people like you who have a legitimate reason to be hesitant. If there wasn’t this campaign to disseminate incorrect information you wouldn’t have to get vaccinated to be safe.
It’s real like
Polio
Measles
Smallpox
Whooping Cough

And many other viruses were real. The people answering no are lost causes but most of you on the fence are not. Would you want to live with these other diseases?
tindrummer · M
the lack of concern by the anti-vaxxers for other peoples' health and lives is what's so upsetting.
whatever happens to them they deserve

We will be living with Covid indefinitely anyway. But the more people are vaccinated, the easier it will be.

I'm vaccinated ..I don't listen to fear mongering idiot's

@SW-User I don't pay any attention to fauci either
Just 12 people are responsible for the majority of COVID-19 conspiracy theories online, study finds.
What's that about?
@JohnRing It's funny to see ol' budwick demanding a link, given that he never provides links himself!
Budwick · 70-79, M
@JohnRing Thanks for the link. It helps shed some light on things. Like Forbes is afraid of people smart enough to ask questions. The actual report is pretty amazing. Like, one of the dozen people you say are responsible for covid misinformation wrote

"Hank Aaron’s death was part of a wave of suspicious deaths among elderly closely following administration of covid vaccines."

How is this possibly misinformation? I'm a Hank Aaron fan and did not know this detail of his death.

Honestly O-Ring, it seems to me that you and Forbes are interested in squashing general information - not misinformation.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Budwick he just made it up on the spot🤣
Northwest · M
I'm fully vaccinated. No side effects to speak of.

Both sides (pro and anti-vax) point to the other and call them fear mongering idiots.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@CrazyMusicLover In cases of "damned if you do or don't" then one might as well do what is right for him or herself.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@CestManan Exactly. I openly admit that I don't know what is the best decision for me, taking into account my autoimmune disease and health issues I've had for the most part of my life. All I know is that if I decide to make some deliberate intervention into my immune system and I develop another autoimmune disease in following years I will never be able to forgive myself and all who tried to push me into it.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@CrazyMusicLover Thing is, even before covid, they were trying to convince EVERYone they were sick or at high risk for some deathly ailment.

If you were young, you had some variation of autism or ADD. Adults - diabetes or pre-diabetes. Old people all had COPD and of course we were all at risk of dropping dead of a heart attack.

But of course they had some miracle cure for all of it.

Covid is no different, they just push the idea a lot stronger. The whole mess is nothing new, it is merely the latest peanut in a bigger turd.
That "bigger turd" being how they want everyone to be afraid of some horrible ailments.

And the contradicting medical reports - that is nothing new. I remember when they were going back and forth about whether or not it was healthy to eat eggs. I know that sounds asinine but I kid you not. They thought we would develop high cholesterol and drop dead of heart disease.

I am not getting a shot because I just cannot take this seriously after all the times they have over hyped every other ailment.
Sometimes even b@stard ailments like lupus or leukemia make a cameo.
I was surprised to read RFK Jr. is an ant- vaccination proponent. And I think he’s caught some flak for his remarks on the covid vaccine.
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@soar2newhighs yeah he’s been a big antivaxxer for a while
@JohnRing Well, and I’m guessing, he’s a Democrat, being a Kennedy, but that’s no guarantee family name or legend will keep one in lock step with those similar in politics and areas of social concern that they (he) is adamant about and strongly speaks out on.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
My first dose was Oxford in March
My second one is after tomorrow
And it’s Pfizer
I already feel like a hybrid 😅😂
I'm already half vaccinated... I will get my second shot as soon as I am invited to do so.
SW-User
In a few years when it’s proven safe
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User By then there will be some new existential threat for us to all worry about.

Worrying about covid vaccine will then be as relevant as worrying about tetanus shots. Not that tetanus shots are unneeded by some but no one preaches nor cares.
Eklipse · F
I'm complete so it's too late to rethink.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@Ingwe May I ask why? Just out of interest, no criticism implied.
Ingwe · F
@MartinII there are still many to be vaccinated... this is africa...many who are more eager and desperate to get that shot ........I am a watcher and observer,
I am not a keen taker of medication ....I am someone who nurse myself and others when need be ...
I am not someone who is afraid to pass by...and I would take invermectin before I take the vaccine
I hear it makes you as healthy as a horse ...neighs

MartinII · 70-79, M
@Ingwe I see, thanks!
Nayla · 51-55, F
I get my second dose on saturday
I already am, not an option given.

Probably. 🤷‍♀️
JohnRing · 56-60, M
@CrazyMusicLover do it you crazy music lover! ❤️
ExtremeNext · 31-35
Not yet

With the current outbreak in Australia I was deciding should I get the vax or treat myself to a huge McDonald's family meal, the burgers were so yummy 😋
Nope, already had covid and have the antibodies. IF by some stretch I get it again I'll go the HCQ/ivermectin route.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Are you one of them? Bahahahahahahaha
jeancolby · 31-35, F
People will do what they want.
