I ghosted a lot of people over the years. Not all of them were bad people.
Toxic people are not healthy to be around, you didn't do anything wrong.

I had a childhood friend I grew up with who started going out of control. Suicidal mess, but used to sneak out of his house, do drugs and drink a lot by time he was fifteen. Whenever I would try to stop being friends they would threaten to kill themselves.
He did go to the hospital once. Someone who threatens to kill themselves if you leave them doesnt even deserve the option to beg because they're just selfish lol.
I slowly distanced myself and stopped talking to them all together when I turned 17.

Yet like 2 years later they broke into my account on insta, found all my posts on sexual abuse and sent that all to my mother probably as a way to get back at me lol. Jokes on them cause my mother already knew. But Ive felt violated after having my privacy breached like that.

Yes and I still feel awful about it. Sometimes you have to cut people out for your own well being, but I should have at least told them before doing so. Live and learn.
