I don’t feel that way about houses I sold, but I feel that way about the house I grew up in.
Some of my former neighbors still call the house by my family’s last name....which annoys the people who have lived in it for a number of years (apparently the second family that’s owned it since we did).

Honestly I feel that way sometimes, my grandparents flip houses and such for a retirement thing, so whenever we drive past a house and that I helped clean or remodel I’m always like omg that’s our house we owned that.

I feel that way about the town home I grew up in.
