For the past few minutes I felt something small and light walking on either me or my pillow kneading me like a cat would with its front paws. One of my cats died last year so I think it might be him. He liked to sleep on my pillow

It could be. I’m sorry for your loss. One of my cats died at the start of the year and I swear I can feel something similar from time to time.
