Wait, what the heck?
TheGoodGuy · M
What? 😬@latinbutterfly
4meAndyou · F
We'll end up with creatures like that awful Amish Haunting feature called The Goat Baby.
TheGoodGuy · M
What's this??? @4meAndyou
4meAndyou · F
@TheGoodGuy It was one of those awful shows on a series called Amish hauntings. According to this show, an Amish couple sinned and had sex before marriage, but when the baby was born it was deformed, and looked like part human and part goat. The legs were like those of a goat, and the head similar to a human but with goat-like hair.

Not a good idea. It's been done before and it didn't end well.[image deleted]

@SW-User 😳
Men now win women athletic competitions & we have goats for human breast milk? If I were a woman, I’d be upset. But, I’m not, so I’ll keep laughing and put on my clown face.

Genetically engineered food is not a good idea, unintended consequences. Goat milk has fatty acids in them that are very healing.

@SW-User I’ve read that it’s helpful against viruses.
TheGoodGuy · M
@cherokeepatti it sure can. I think this was specifically for diarrhoea related illnesses - they showed a couple of Petri dishes, one with normal goat milk (which had loads of bacteria colonies on it) and the other was the human DNA goat milk (which had hardly any bacterial colonies on it). It stops/slows down the bacteria from multiplying, thereby stopping the diarrhoea.

@TheGoodGuy I read an article about 15 years ago about goat milk and HIV, it is high in some of the same fatty acids that coconut oil has in it. Lauric and caprylic acids. Africans who live in areas where there are no imported cooking oils and rely on coconut oil to use for cooking don’t show signs of HIV even though they have people traveling through the areas with HIV. Theory is that it is the coconut oil that prevent any of the locals in those areas from contracting it. Those acids can dissolve the hard protective sheath around the HIV virus and kill the virus. Most medications cannot do that.

I find it a bit disgusting. It's another example of arrogance interfering with nature. A goat and goats milk should remain just that, what it was made and meant to be, nothing more or less.
TheGoodGuy · M
@Magenta Usually I'd totally agree with that but what they're saying is that with this alteration the milk can be used for kids who are very sick with diarrhea and it'll help them get better quicker bcoz it stops bacteria from multiplying.
There’s literally 5 movies that say this is a bad idea..
