I've known two people who had the same thing happen. They both said it was the overdone disinfectant smell.

A friend of mine went to the hospital for routine surgery. He woke up a week late with a pace maker implanted. He was allergic to the anesthetic. His oldest son came to visit him and promptly fainted. His second son walked in and fainted. The youngest son walked in and fainted. The mom came in and found her husband and three sons passed out from the anesthetic.

@DonotInboxMe Absolutely. They are all very allergic to the anesthetic. Sounds funny when he recounts it. It wasn't funny at the time. The anesthetic stopped his heart. With out a pace maker he would be dead.
