I walked as I lived near enough and it took about 20 minutes at a brisk pace.
Dusty101 · F
I took a train.. it took 30 mins. Then a horrible one mile walk up a steep hill. Hated every bit of that journey.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@Dusty101 30 min train ride for a mile walk
Dusty101 · F
I lived in the south east part of Dublin. My school was in Dublin city. About 16 stops. It took ages.. because it was quite a slow train. Even though it was called the DART. Dublin Area Rapid Transport. My a55 it was rapid!
I remember taking a shower in the morning and having my hair freeze on the walk to school.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@Pitchblue omg that would be bad
Degbeme · 70-79, M
I biked or walked.
hlpflwthat · M
Elementary I could walk. But Middle & High school were a 75 minute bus ride until I got my license at 16. We were beginning and end of our bus route because we were closest to the bus garage. Sucked.

I walked barefoot through 3 feet of snow, or in the summer on the hot asphalt... wait, that was my Dad's story 😁. Walked or rode my bicycle until I got in high school. It was 10 miles away, so I rode the bus until I was old enough to get a job and buy a clunker car.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@frequentlyme I got the same story from my dad. 😆
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
@Degbeme Yah, doesn't work anymore - I tried 😂
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@frequentlyme Yeah me too ... 😏

Took bus or got a ride
I walked or took my bike. It was about a 20 minutes walk to school and no bus needed ;)
MasterLee · 56-60, M
We moved a lot, so both
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@FilthyBeast she told me the bus was never on time at all. All was 20 or 30 minutes early or late. Never knew when to go down there.
@smileylovesgaming yeah, and you couldn't tell if you missed it or not if you were the only kid at the stop anyway
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@FilthyBeast so yea her mom would bring her over to our house on the way to work. And she just ride her back with us
SW-User
Too far, had to ride the bus.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@SW-User Oh I could have also. But never did
SW-User
@smileylovesgaming it was ok, but the bus wasn't always my favorite.
djjohnson · 41-45, M
I rode my bike everyday to school until I got my license. I didn't have a car but for some reason I chose to walk to school after that.
Bluesky53 · 61-69, M

smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
