Do you guys like a lady that just keeps to herself or tells it like it is when it's nessessary?

My best friend isn't afraid to speak her mind. She tells it like it is and has zero tolerance for jerks. She only tells it like it is when it's necessary. I guess that's probably why she attracts a lot of guys. I teens to keep it to myself, beat around the bush and afraid to voice my opinion. I guess most guys find me uninteresting because I am too nice and always agreeable....sometimes.

Most men will have more respect for the woman who speaks up. They tend to use and discard the passive ones.

With passive compliant girls, they know they can get away with a lot without any consequences or embarrassment.

And, at your age, that's a good thing!

@BeautiyRose96 Relationships are not meant to last at this stage of your life. And, as you gain more confidence, you will be able to be more assertive. You'll find that if a guy likes you he will want to know how you feel about things and will respect clearly set boundaries.

@BeautiyRose96 My closest friend got married at 18 to the first guy she dated; he was 19 and she was his first girlfriend. He died recently after they'd been happily married for almost 50 years. This kind of thing is rare but it does happen. By the way, mid to late 20s is not really that young for marriage. In general, people tend to become more confident and assertive as they age. And they get better at sorting out the bullies, too, because taking advantage of someone more passive and less assertive is a form of bullying. Also, guys mature and many get to the point where they appreciate women who are not bratty and demanding.

@BeautiyRose96 Not stupid, just less experienced. It takes time for some of us to learn we have the right to speak up and be our own friend. Meanwhile, relationships can still be fun, but remember you do have the right to say what you think.
