I prefer shoes, loafers or lace ups, then boots of various kinds from oxford ankle boots to hiking, harness, didn't, and even cowboy. Leather sneakers are good for casual running around, but athletic shoes I only wear for the particular sport, generally, not something that I wear daily.

@toddr13 well at the beach I'm dressed for the water and my board. But I like to represent my favorite surf t-shirts and jeans and loafers on the outside away from the beach. a nice watch goes well as well. Did that make sense?
