Hi Andrew, still loving dark mode. I tried going back to the old one and nearly went blind, its so much easier on the eyes. is there a chance you can work on the unread posts and messages colour? I have trouble telling read and unread apart

@Dlrannie The word is it is easier on the eye, and studies have indicated staring at computer and phone screens late in the day interferes with sleep. Supposedly dark mode helps.

And the basic black elegance, of course.

@Andrew my curiosity took the better of me so I switched back to light mode for a minute and came to two conclusions:

1) These colors work well in both themes.
2) MY EYES!!! How did I ever use light mode before? 🤣

I am actually just writing to congratulate on a feature that seems to be very well received and most people are excited and love it.

I hate it. 🙃🤷 And it's no doubt because of my health conditions which are directly tied in to my nervous system aka tied into my ocular and my inner ear, and so it literally makes me nauseous, etc.

Kudos however. I love new fun changes and [u]I am really looking forward to the background choices. [/u]

Just now seeing this. It really looks incredible! It does seem to reduce eye strain and the non blue light issue will help with sleep at night, according to studies. I’ve used something similar built into my IPad but this is so much better and I believe healthier. Thank you, @Nuno and the staff very much, for all of the hard work! @Andrew 😊👍

Yes, that's correct.
Blue-Light exposure, especially at night, does impact one's quality of sleep.

Sorry that Dark Theme took this long to become available,
but we do hope that many users will enjoy its benefits, moving forward. 🙂👍

@smileylovesgaming a lot of mobile phones do not natively support background dimming for websites. It’s fine for the day time but in the night you suffer a lot.

This new feature reduces eye strain significantly in the night
