When can you say that you already truly forgive someone?

If a bribe is involved ;)

I can still be angry and forgive someone. To me, forgiveness is when I wish no harm to the person and I release them from owing me anything, even an apology. I may still choose to not be friends however, if they can't be trusted.

It doesn’t eat you up anymore or consume your thoughts. you feel peace.

After they're tossed inside a cage with hungry lions

when you cannot remember /forget the wrongdoing

When you're not holding anything against them.

Depends on what that someone has done to me … there’s one thing I can never forgive … the rest is water under the bridge.
