Why do people fake happiness in social media?

It's sad and fake and I just can't stand it. I know we're all guilty of hypocrisy at some point, but when you see someone doing it and asking you to take pictures of him/her, I just can't. If I'm going to capture moments, I'd rather they be real....

@SirenCalledLuce You know that kind of smile that's just too plastic and too forced? So when it happened, I tried to make him/her laugh so it'll be real instead of telling him/her it looks too plastic, but he/she ended up getting annoyed.

People just deal with things in different ways, they need to feed their needs in different ways too. I just try to understand why people do the things they do without being judgemental 🙂
