You act like gun control works.... but yet where do all these shootings take place gun free zones exactly how well has that worked out? Not only in the US but abroad. The solution is be responsible for your own safety however you may see fit. But let’s look at the true causes of these shootings has just so happened to be linked to phycho active drugs. Drugs used to treat depression attention deficit disorder and others all played a roll in these situations among other motives. Now let’s look at this case. The student who is accused was suspended for some behavior. But the FACTS of the case are still unclear and will be yet to be discovered. But let’s wait to hear what the facts are.

@Ozuye502 The true facts are that another at-15 was used. No need for anyone to use or possess this gun. Look to Australia , they have it right. . The only legislation in congress is to allow silencers. What happened after the las vegas shooting? where was all the legislation to ban bump stocks?

@jimjim1969 oooo the most common sporting rifle was used not surprising. I have plenty of friends owning more than one of those. Bump firing can also be done with a belt loop. And it causes jams of the weapon.
And the massive gun grab in Australia caused massive problems with potentially lethal situations of home invasions strong arm robberies and a massive increase in black market. Allowing criminal gun dealers to charge more for cheaper products increasing their profit margins.
Now let’s look at how this individual got his hands on this modern sporting rifle and ammunition?
What was his motivation(s)?
And just ignore the facts that a firearm is used thousands of times a day to stop a criminal act. Most of which the firearm is never actually discharged?
A suppressor on a firearm only reduces the report from on average 40-60 decibels taking it down to 100 or 120 decibels. Rather than an ear sharing 140-160. It’s still loud as hell but will not cause much hearing damage. So cut the straw man of banning guns is a great idea.
But hey let’s not forget the acts of democide carried out by governments against their own citizens. Or should I say subjects?

@Ozuye502 The government is not coming to get you. This far right wing rhetoric is crazy. But why stop at guns if the government is after you. Why not allow RPG'S, sarin gas, tanks, tactical nuclear bombs? Grow up and get out of your bunker.
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@jimjim1969 hey I have no problem with people owning defensive equipment such as tanks and rpgs as long as they have never violated the nonaggression principle and don’t intend to however the gas and nuclear weapon do violate the nonaggression principle because once deployed they kill and injure well long after they are deployed.
It’s basic logic in that you can never actually legitimately legislate or regulate away bat shit crazy but you can damn sure own the tools to guard yourself against it.
As far as the government goes yeah they’re not actively assaulting me but have that measure of having that defensive equipment is the insurance policy they don’t. And yes I am also against passively assaulting all of us by handing over control of everything to the corporatist model. See the left calls for and embraces governmental control while minarcists like myself and the ancaps and the various other forms of libertarianism understand that having a dangerous freedom is Necessary to ensure freedom exists!

But since when is it the bill of needs?
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
Oh you live in Australia well you can bend over for government and the criminal element of society I’ll guard myself against it
jimjim1969 · M
@Ozuye502 How did you get so paranoid ? You seem to make up rules for who should own what. I think a small tac. nuke is ok. What is the nonaggression principle?
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
The nonaggression principle (nap) in a basic idea is that any act of aggression or anything that uses aggression (government) should not exist however you can use force to stop aggression and that force can be lethal if deemed necessary. Now, nuclear weapons once deployed creates a massive amount of nuclear waste which is extremely dangerous and has the potential to cause harm for thousands of years and the potential to kill innocent people (non combatants) in such great numbers like the ones the USA and Russia and others have. Even smaller tactical nuclear weapons leave the land largely inhabitable without massive cleanup.
And yes the nap also covers massive negligent behavior by allowing people to actually vote with their wallets if I owned a paint company (DuPont) or a fertilizer company (Monsanto) and I was dumping massive amounts of toxic waste into a local water way the media has every right to report it and the people have every right not to buy my products shutting down my company and those individuals hurt by my actions can seek financial assistance from me in court. Welcome to the idea of Ancapistan. Where everything is privately owned and privately funded and taxation doesn’t exist!

Now take the idea of the recent school shooting now because the school would be privately funded thus responsible for its own security you would have a few things different 1 school staff would have probably been armed to some extent 2 the school would have armed uniformed officers providing security having a drastically less response time terminating the situation quicker.
