Isaac Clarke is probably pretty relateable. (Dead Space)

I mean c'mon, he's an engineer, tough as nails in an armoured spacesuit...but personally he's just a regular guy, he's just seem some shit is all.

I mean he's probably one of the few videogame protagonists at the time that weren't some kind of superhero or supercop or supersoldier...he was just an engineer on a routine repair mission.

True enough. I just started playing it for the first time a few weeks ago

@Scubaguy027 Dead Space 1? It's easily my favourite horror franchise of all time, even if we're talking MOVIES as well.

It's just how immersive it is...the detail, the care given to that game adds to the terror so much.

@Fangirlsarah1996 yep the first one. I never bought it in the past because of the kids. I just make sure to not play it around the little man

@Scubaguy027 Because it is scary as shit.

I mean a few of the scares are outdated, like the playing dead Necromorphs (Mainly because they didn't look dead due to lighting, that's VASTLY improved in DS2 and 3)

But the game holds up for it's age and the gameplay is just the right combination of smooth and clunky...the fact that you feel slow makes the experience so much worse (In a good way)

@Fangirlsarah1996 oh yeah it's definitely a fun game. I'm only maybe 5 hours into it. I may play tonight after my test

@Scubaguy027 If you get through it I certainly recommend Dead Space 2...it's a bit more of an action game but the horror aspects are turned way up.

Plus they ironed out some of the gameplay funkiness and gave Isaac a voice.
