As a child, did you have a favorite object/plaything that wasn't a toy?

My dad brought home a u-shaped magnet from work for me when I was a bout 10. Had more fun with that than any Meccano set, model airplane or game like Monopoly.

Maybe you loved a book or a blankie?

I was tempted to boing one of the ends of the thing on the sidewalk to make it vibrate then place it against my teeth to see if one of them would shatter. But I didn't so, yay for me :D
