Two thousand miles was what my parents drove nearly every year while I was growing up. It used to take us four to five days, with my parents spelling each other.

@Stereoguy One thing I remember is the sheer exhaustion I felt while driving a moving truck alone, stopping for meals, walking my dog...I was lucky to do four or five hours a day.
