The red squirrel

A fun fact I read once.

Grey squirrels store their acorns in one place, like a tree trunk. Red squirrels bury acorns throughout the forest, and thus they forget where many of them are, and some of those acorns take root.

So red squirrels are better for the long-term health of the forest.

I grew up near white squirrels.
