I've heard some random ones, most of which turned out to be more urban legend than real. My favorite is that crystal gazers (AKA fortune tellers) need a special state license to operate.

In Texas , it is illegal to carry wire cutters in your pocket unless they are extending out of it at least 3 inches. A violation of that law would get you hung for cattle rustling back in the day. Today , if LE needed probable cause, they could use that violation to search you or your vehicle.

I think uk laws spread across the whole country. tho there are some medieval ones in some towns that are still a thing today, but they are very rare. 🤔
