@PTCdresser57 my car hates the snow and ice. My kids wanted me to stay in town and not risk it but at 5 to 10 mph i finally did make it.

Snow is easier to deal with than ice LilPrincess...but I always felt that if I could make it driving slow then all was ok. Only missed a total of 15 days in 43 years....5 for a surgery and 10 in the first 2 years when I was 18 and 19.

@PTCdresser57 not many can say that. In the last 29 years i missed 2 days when my parents passed away, 1 when my brother passed away and 4 days that i took vacation for when in the hospital.

@BrewCityBarfly When we don't get a lot of snow...we get slammed with tornadoes come summer

@LilPrincess We haven't been getting a lot of snow, and the lakes aren't icing (yet). Will be curious to see if we get more severe thunderstorms over the summer, haven't had anything too severe the past few years as I can recall.

@BrewCityBarfly we haven't either. Lots of warnings but they fizzle out.

@Confined I know the feeling. The one year it was acceptable after a two hour struggle i was told i could have worked from home
