Since ghosts can move stuff around can they just use a mop or do the dishes?

I’ve yelled something like that at the ghost I definitely don’t have living with me. I said “Instead of moving my keys around, how about moving a sponge across the dirty dishes?!”
Since then, the ghost that definitely isn’t real hasn’t messed with my stuff 🤷‍♂

If they are unknown to you it's not going to happen. They'd prefer to pester and make you quess what they need to move on. Not what you call helpful.

not all ghosts can do that. what you want are poltergeists. I recommend trying to summon those guys.
