I do love winter...the sound of snow crunching as I walk. The fresh air..crisp and clean!!❤❄
This is the hill where I spent many hours sledding as a child. I was tempted today but thought I better wait until there is more snow...a softer landing!!😅🤪❄
I noticed some wildlife have visited the property in the last few days...
White-tailed deer...
American Crow...
Red Fox...
Red Squirrel...
Lastly the old Ash tree that is hibernating for winter. Awaiting the warmth of Spring to bring forth tender new leaves...

I do remember crazy carpets...bright orange and green!!😅 I believe there are some old fashioned sleds in the barn that have the waxed runners...they are fast on hard packed snow!!😯😁
We collided with another kid, I still remember that impact. When I awoke, there was a saint bernard rescue dog complete with whisky flask, over top of me.
@faith2hope4love 😵⚰️🐕️..🐶 it [i]WAS[/i] a flying saucer !!... we'd collided head on.
Of the plastic variety, piloted by a small speeding kid, straight into ours! Talk about seeing stars!..ouch. I think the milky way flashed before my eyes.
