New Year's Eve on a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Nova Scotia!!😊⛄

I do love winter...the sound of snow crunching as I walk. The fresh air..crisp and clean!!❤❄

This is the hill where I spent many hours sledding as a child. I was tempted today but thought I better wait until there is more snow...a softer landing!!😅🤪❄

I noticed some wildlife have visited the property in the last few days...

White-tailed deer...

American Crow...

Red Fox...

Red Squirrel...

Lastly the old Ash tree that is hibernating for winter. Awaiting the warmth of Spring to bring forth tender new leaves...

How nice you can revisit the scenes of those carefree, happy days of your youth.

I have many fond memories of careening down hills such as these -- sigh.
