I do love winter...the sound of snow crunching as I walk. The fresh air..crisp and clean!!❤❄
This is the hill where I spent many hours sledding as a child. I was tempted today but thought I better wait until there is more snow...a softer landing!!😅🤪❄
I noticed some wildlife have visited the property in the last few days...
White-tailed deer...
American Crow...
Red Fox...
Red Squirrel...
Lastly the old Ash tree that is hibernating for winter. Awaiting the warmth of Spring to bring forth tender new leaves...
sledding down a hill sounds like da' bomb … though today, when we look at that same hill, we just kinda' chuckle quietly. [i][c=#800000]"you gonna' show us a real hill?"[/c][/i] the kids beg.
@muffinman Many friends and neighbors enjoyed sledding on this hill over the years...both young and old. Especially fun on a clear night with a full moon!!😜🌕️
you right, [@f2h4l] … full moon was [i]best[/i] time to go sledding! the parents would scream for us to come inside for bed … we pretended not to hear. temps dipped well below zero … we never noticed. some of our best memories. thanks for taking me back 50+ years, faith. 😇

I'll need to polish the runners of my old Flexible Flyer one day. The snow looks fantastic as we deal with more rain. The yearly record has already been broken and we will end up with more than thirty inches above normal. Have a Happy New Year and enjoy!
Absolutely stunning especially with so much blue sky. Do you get to see the Wildlife that passes through your property? My dream is to have a property and set up motion Cameras all around to get pictures of the owners of those footprints
@Gusman I thought you would enjoy seeing them...thank you so much, my friend!!🤗 Yes, I see the squirrels, crows and fox almost daily. Deer are nocturnal so you don't see them as much in daylight.
Many people use motion cameras to see what type wildlife are on their property or hunting locations. You would really enjoy having one. It also detects if there are any two legged creatures on your property at night!!😉🤔
I have seen some funny pictures of bears last fall...laying on a pile of apples at night while they eat and one opening a vehicle door!!🤦♀️😅

It DOES look beautiful there. I wish the sun were shining where I am. It's been cloudy and rainy all day, but the temp is 70°F here. Must be a global warming deal.
