I Wish I Had More Close Friends

I cannot for the life of me make a good friend. It's because I'm extremely timid. I've only had only one real good friend and that was in high school. We don't talk anymore, so that's that. There's a ton of people at my college that I can talk to, but I just cannot find myself talking with a stranger. It's painful.??
