My college friends are forgetting me [I Miss My Best Friend But I Think That She's Forgotten Me]

I miss my college friends I feel like they’ve forgotten me. They don’t ask me how I’m doing.

I’m a music director at a church by the way and when I posted to Facebook not a lot of my friends from college “liked” the page.

Meanwhile I see they post a lot of stuff and they gets lots of likes from everyone that they know from school.

I don’t post to Facebook often so maybe that’s why?

Maybe it my autism? People see that so they just don’t want to be friends with me? I’ve been so alone these past few months with only my parents to be around

My dad thinks I don’t have a social life, which made me feel very sad and hurt.

feeling alone sucks friendships take effort from both sides to work make sure you're doing your share by engaging them I have friends we don't talk for years but when we do we just pick up where we left off. if you are investing time and effort into any relationship and it isn't returned in kind move on. sometimes when I feel alone I realize I haven't been a very good friend and need to reach out more to stay connected.

Several of my college friends disappeared also after graduation. After many years I have 3 from college that are still friends. These 3 have been great. We have shared each others good times and bad times. We have shard the lose of loved ones and we have even gotten together for vacations. I had much rather have fewer friends like these 3 that are always there for me than a lot of friends that are only out for themselves.
