Have you ever talked to your SW friend?

@SW-User Yes regional accents are very different. I'm sure this is the case in a huge country like India as well.
In the USA certain regions were settled by Germans or Swedish or French or were primarily African slave areas so our dilects become affected by that history or even our ethinic background. I can usually tell where a person is from within 2 minutes of them speaking.

@REMsleep True, the regional accents change only in case of Hindi. English more or less remains the same with the educated class..

That's an interesting information. I didn't know.
I'm sure there are many Indians in USA . On that note, do i have an Indian accent?🤭

@OogieBoogie Bang on! I can't agree more. It's always a different experience when we meet . I have been told that i seem like a no nonsense person online but when they met me they said, "We never knew you were so easy to talk to"🤣

@SW-User I don't see that many people here from India. Was this in India? Were they Indian or other?

@REMsleep I met Indians in Mumbai. But not from this platform. It was another app. That was a long time ago.

@SW-User i don't tend to give my whatsapp to guys but some are on my insta or snap.
One guy i spoke to every few days but he has fallen into a deep depressive state after his dad passed, he had covid and then he lost his job.
