Ironically, someone who became a friend for the rest of her life. She was much older than me and her niece is a friend. She needed a tenant but said she had no friends because of trust issues. Her niece took us to lunch; she knew I was wanting to move and that I was someone her aunt would be able to trust. And we clicked, I made her laugh. So I lived there until she became ill and helped her niece take care of her until she passed away. She told me she finally had a friend. 🥺

It's like a catch 22. I really long for friends again. I used to have a lot of fun, with various friends. Now, many years later, we all have gone separate ways and lost touch. It sucks b/c I don't have any true social life or contacts. BUT, on the other hand, I also don't mind quiet nights too. I like a movie night by myself, or dinner occasionally. I do wish I still kept in touch with at least one friend. :(

Since my wife passed 5 yrs ago I rather like solitude. More and more.
As long as you're comfortable with your own company this is a good thing :)

No I dont. As for myself, I like having alone time but enjoy having family time and friends.

I have a very select small circle who’ve been trained to give me a break 😇

Their is this person that stares at me in the mirror that is usually that way. The way life has turned out he has wished he was popular and had lots of friends at different points, right now the fewer people in his circle the more he can pretend he's comfortable

I do enjoy friends, I have alot of fun at work and there are two I talk to outside of work but I very much enjoy being alone.

I wouldn't know. They might just say that to me but it might mean they just don't want me as their friend.

@rinkydinkydoink 🤔no unless you are unsociable hermit we all need friends but there is time we need space from them too

I do better in a small setting with 5 or 6 people parties and crowds seem to be too much

Me. I would love to live somewhere remote with my cats. 🤔Probably add a couple dogs too.

I’m aware of a few that don’t seek others.

It's not that I don't want friends, but I do really value my alone time. Before in previous jobs I always would be like that gif when I finally got out of work. So I wasn't really eager to ever socialize in person in my downtime.
