How do I politely (but with seriousness) tell a friend that I no longer want to hear about their Tik Tok obsession?

Just tell them that you are so happy that they have found something that they can really relate to, but it is just not something that you are interested in. That may be the easiest way to say it without hurting feelings

shout 'tik tok' everytime they mention it

Film a video explaining all this, and post it on Tik Tok in a way they will find it.

(Sorry, I do not know how Tik Tok works).

I hope they know the Chinese government is collecting all the their data.
