It will be a miracle not to let my intrusive thoughts win with this person until the end of this project

Today I finally discovered why one of the managers I work with has superiority complex (when clearly he is not a potato and therefore cannot be superior). He told me about how his siblings run their family business with his dad and the way he was talking made me feel his Dad probably always compared him to them LOL AS IN WHY COULDN'T YOU DO THE SAME.

The way he exaggerates his abilities and greatness and the amount of time he spends talking about himself is crazy. I could spot it literally in our first encounter and instantly assumed he is probably the opposite and is over compensating.

Poor child though. Next time he says something dumb that’s supposed to impress me, I will pretend be all like wow 🤩 instead of giving him the are you stupid look?
