So green onions will continue to grow if I place them in water as soon as I bring home from grocery store right? [I Like Veggies]

Cut the white bulb part off......use that to eat or cook....stick the green tops in a water and sit in sunlight.....the bulb will grow back...and back...and back.

Yes, but it would be better to just place them in a pot of dirt and it continue to grow much better that way.

@SW-User I tried it once, but I think I let them sit in the ice box too long..prior to placing them in water on window sill
