Now i get to starve cause my doordash went to the wrong house on the street and im not going to go get it because the people in that house scare me

It got delivered 2 doors down. Idk how but it did. I'm just asking for a refund at this point through the app. I'm not going to go get it because the people in that house look like unfriendly trailer park types and I'm not getting shot grabbing my food off their porch

Call the restaurant and tell them they made a mistake. And don't ever confuse being hungry waiting for food to be brought to your door with starving. You should be thankful you know where your next meal is coming from. Not everyone in the world is as fortunate or rich as you.

@RedBaron It's not a rich person's problem. I live below the poverty line but enjoy a delivered meal every now and then. Even if he was rich, the services shouldn't be less than acceptable. He ordered food and it should've been delivered to the correct place. Mistake or not, he should get a refund if the people took it in. Since it is still outside, then it is his decision to pursue it or not, however, some people have cameras now and might mistake him for stealing something even if it is his.

Wow! The people who lived there just took it? They didn't tell them it was the wrong home and they didn't order anything?

Deliveries often are mistaken for me and the unit above me. (2 and 2A) It's kinda nuts but I ALWAYS have to tell them it's upstairs. I always have to take left packages up there. I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you get your refund and then some since they went to the wrong house.

And btw, you shouldn't have to inconvenience yourself to get it.

1. You paid to have it delivered to your home and

2. Once food is dropped off at a stranger's home, you don't know what they have done to it, especially in the midst of Covid.
Call Doordash and the restaurant and explain what happened.
