SO many...I grew up with one of the world's worst cooks. (And it didn't stop, even after I left home). Even worse than canned peas she used to serve, was the old mutton my mother overcooked to the burning point. The whole house filled with the smell of burned sheep's wool, and that is exactly how the tough old mutton tasted. We were all forced to take a bite, but it was so awful that, thankfully, my mother threw it away and we didn't have to eat the whole slice.
